Demand for a starting spot at the 2027 DATEV Challenge Roth remains strong: Online registration on Monday, July 13, sold out completely in record time. All individual entries were filled after just 15 seconds, and registration for relay teams closed after 18 seconds.
“We are overwhelmed by this incredible interest and the trust the athletes have placed in us. It shows just how much global appeal Roth has,” says Felix Walchshöfer, race director of DATEV Challenge Roth.
Late Entry Draw Now Open
For anyone who was unable to secure an entry during online registration, there is still a chance to participate: The Late Entry Draw includes unused quotas from partners and unused slots from previous registrations. At least 300 individual starting spots and 25 relay spots will be allocated for DATEV Challenge Roth 2027. Last year, more than 700 individual starting spots were allocated through this process.
Registration for the Late Entry Draw is open until November 9, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. CET. By participating in the Late Entry Draw, all athletes are supporting charitable causes, such as the “Weihnachten gemeinsam” project and the children’s and youth fire departments in the Roth district.
On July 4, 2027, 3,500 individual athletes and 700 relay teams will line up at the starting line of the world’s largest long-distance triathlon.
