Natalie Van Coevorden and Henrik Goesch have claimed the women’s and men’s professional titles at UKG IRONMAN 70.3 Port Macquarie, with both athletes impressing on their way to the top step of the podium. Poor water quality due to recent heavy rain meant that the swim portion of the event was cancelled, with athletes beginning the 90km ride in time trial format, with the professionals randomly drawing their start positions and then hitting the course at 15 second intervals. more

The IRONMAN Pro Series™ makes its way to Italy for the fifth event in the Series, and the first stop in Europe with IRONMAN® 70.3® Venice-Jesolo triathlon with over 100 professional athletes are slated to toe the line at just the fifth edition of the race, and they will be racing for a maximum of 2,500 IRONMAN Pro Series points, a total prize purse of $50,000 USD, and three slots per gender for the 2025 IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship triathlon in Marbella, Spain. more

IRONMAN, the global leader in triathlon, and the city of Nice, France are pleased to share that the partnership for world championship events has been extended through 2028 with Nice hosting the 2025 Men’s IRONMAN® World Championship triathlon on September 14, as well as the two-day format IRONMAN® 70.3® World Championship triathlons in 2026 and 2028. The 2026 IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship triathlon will take place on September 12 & 13, 2026 with the 2028 edition taking place in September. more

IRONMAN, in collaboration with local and state officials in Hawai`i, announced today that beginning in 2026 the IRONMAN® World Championship, the pinnacle event of triathlon, will return to its roots of Hawai`i, with Kona exclusively hosting a reimagined event format with men and women racing together on the same day. The Woodlands, Texas and the Lone Star state once again provided a stunning backdrop for the Memorial Hermann IRONMAN® Texas North American Championship, the fourth event in the 2025 IRONMAN Pro Series™. In the first full-distance 2025 IRONMAN Pro Series triathlon in North America, Norwegian powerhouse Kristian Blummenfelt stormed to victory in his debut appearance in The Woodlands in a time of 7:24:20. A thrilling day of racing at Challenge Mogán Gran Canaria marked by a career-best win for Will Draper (GBR) and a successful defence of her 2024 title by Marta Lagownik (POL) in 3:42:05 and 4:13:28 respectively. Conditions were perfect for the 1.9km swim off Anfi Beach with Spanish athlete, Joan Riexach Abril leading out of the water in 22:43, closely followed by a large group that included the likes of Jonathan Brownlee (GBR), Ognjen Stojanovic (SER) and Luis Buttrick (GBR). more
