Great Britain’s India Lee won the Miami T100 at Clash Endurance Miami to give her victory in the first ever women’s T100 and the maximum 35 points. “I’m speechless,” said the 35-year old after what is her biggest win in the sport by some distance, beating fellow Brits Lucy Charles-Barclay and Holly Lawrence into second and third places respectively. “It feels like I’m watching myself in a different entity. Denmark’s Magnus Ditlev won the first-ever T100 at the Homestead-Miami Speedway and live up to his billing as the race’s top-ranked athlete by starting the new T100 Triathlon World Tour in commanding fashion and securing the maximum 35 points on offer. The Professional Triathletes Organisation (PTO) and World Triathlon have announced a box office start list for the men’s Miami T100 at CLASH Endurance Miami on 9 March, 2024. It features 14 of the top 17 PTO World Ranked athletes, led by #2 Magnus Ditlev and a very strong contingent of Americans, including #3 Jason West, #9 Sam Long and #23 Ben Kanute, who will all be aiming for a win on home soil. more

Chelsea Sodaro (USA) and Steve McKenna (AUS) have claimed the 2024 ANZCO Foods IRONMAN New Zealand titles on a historic day as the event celebrates its 40th anniversary. Sodaro, the 2022 IRONMAN World Champion, was hugely impressive from cannon to tape on her IRONMAN New Zealand debut, setting a new course best time of 8:40:06. This Saturday, one of the strongest women’s professional fields ever assembled in Taupo will battle it out for the 2024 ANZCO Foods IRONMAN New Zealand title. Amongst the starters are four former IRONMAN New Zealand winners in the shape of defending champion Els Visser, two-time champion Joceyln McCauley, 2018 champion Laura Siddall, and five-time champion Meredith Kessler. Two convincing victories were earned today at Challenge Wanaka by Kyle Smith (NZL) and Els Visser (NED) as they took the first Challenge Family titles of 2024. Smith led from the start with a lead that never looked under threat, taking the win in 3:53:08 while Visser showed her domination on the bike, giving her a comfortable lead into the testing Wanaka run, crossing the line in 4:34:46. more

IRONMAN announced today the return of the IRONMAN® 70.3® Canada triathlon which will be added in Penticton, British Columbia, providing additional racing in 2024. The IRONMAN 70.3 Canada half-distance race, which first took place from 2016-2019 in Whistler, British Columbia, is scheduled to return on Sunday, Aug. 25 in conjunction with the full-distance IRONMAN Canada triathlon. more

Nick Thompson and Chelsea Sodaro have claimed victory at IRONMAN 70.3 Tasmania on a wet and wild day in Hobart. Thompson claimed his second IRONMAN 70.3 victory on Sunday, while for Sodaro it was her first win since taking out the 2022 VinFast IRONMAN World Championship. Thompson crossed the line in 3:54:10, almost four minutes ahead of Mitch Kibby, with hometown hero Cameron Wurf rounding out the podium. more

Former IRONMAN World Champion Chelsea Sodaro is set to headline the women’s professional field at next Sunday’s IRONMAN 70.3 Tasmania in nipaluna/Hobart. Sodaro made global headlines in October 2022 when she stormed to victory at the VinFast IRONMAN World Championship in Kona, Hawai`i. IRONMAN announced today that Marbella, Spain has secured the rights to host the 2025 VinFast IRONMAN® 70.3® World Championship triathlon. Marbella will follow Lahti, Finland who hosted last year’s event, and Taupo, New Zealand who will host the 2024 edition. Marbella will become the fourth city in Europe and the first in Spain to host the IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship. more
