The IRONMAN Foundation, Inc. is commemorating the 25th anniversary of the iconic Athletic Brewing IRONMAN® Lake Placid triathlon, part of the VinFast IRONMAN North American Series, by distributing $67,500 in charitable giveback to local organizations in the Lake Placid region through grant funding and the distribution of bicycles to community youths. This brings the historical charitable donation total from The IRONMAN Foundation to over $2 million in Lake Placid and surrounding communities. more

IRONMAN has announced a new IRONMAN® 70.3® triathlon will be added to the European race calendar for next year, with the launch of IRONMAN 70.3 Tours Métropole - Loire Valley set to take place on 1 June, 2025. Tours, located in west-central France, is a university town, tucked between the banks of the Loire and Cher rivers, just a one hour and seven minute train ride from Paris. Tours, the city of towers, was once the capital of the French kingdom in the 15th and 17th centuries. more

IRONMAN announced today that it will celebrate the magic of the Okanagan one last time when the City of Penticton, British Columbia, Canada hosts its final edition of the iconic IRONMAN® Canada triathlon, before the historic event moves to its new location in Ottawa in 2025. It was a day of records at DATEV Challenge Roth: Denmark's Magnus Ditlev took his third title in a row in the triathlon Mecca in a new world best time of 7:23:24. Anne Haug (GER) beat Daniela Ryf's world best time, set just a year ago in Roth, by almost six minutes. The 41-year-old Hawaii winner from 2019 only signed up for the long-distance triathlon last Monday and dominated the field from the start. more

Castle Race Series have announced they are set to host a full iron distance ultra-triathlon at Château de Chantilly on 8 June 2025. “The Bastion”, as it will be known, will feature a 3.8km swim in the Grand Canal, a 180km bike course around the beautiful Oise region and a stunning 42.2km run course through the grounds of one of France’s most iconic châteaux. more
