The Triathlete's Guide to the Galaxy

At K226, we believe in going long. Our mission is to serve as the ultimate hub of information for triathletes, guiding them through the vast cosmos of endurance sports. Whether you're recovering from a grueling training session or gearing up for your next race, K226 makes it easy to navigate the latest news, insights, and gossip in the triathlon community.

How We Started

K226 triathlon was founded with a clear purpose: to promote independent iron-distance events worldwide. Over the years, we have expanded our reach to embrace the entire long-distance triathlon community, becoming a trusted resource for athletes at all levels.

Our journey began in the early 80s when our founders fell in love with the sport. As avid competitors and fans, they traveled to numerous destination races, accumulating a wealth of knowledge about various events. Encouraged by fellow triathletes, they decided to share their insights and experiences with a broader audience.

In early 2006, K226 officially launched online, quickly gaining traction within the triathlon community. As our platform grew, we received requests from professional triathletes seeking to promote their journeys and causes. In response, we created our Pro section, which has since evolved into an extensive Athlete Database, allowing fans and enthusiasts to easily find, follow, and support the professional field.
