DESCRIPTION:The Itaú BBA IRONMAN 70.3 Aracaju–Sergipe triathlon will feature a 1.9km (1.2-mile) swim, 90.1km (56-mile) bike, and 21.1km (13.1-mile) run. In a first for all of the IRONMAN-branded events in Brazil, the swim course will take place in a river, at the Foz Vaza Barris where the first transition will also be staged. The bike course will consist of three laps on a primarily flat course that finishes at the Orla do Atalaia along the coastline. After exiting transition two, athletes will tackle the run course that traverses the shoreline, allowing spectators to closely cheer on the passing participants before a grand finish line experience.
