The IRONMAN 70.3 Augusta triathlon is set to return on Sunday, Aug. 28, following the cancellation of the 2024 event due to the effects of Hurricane Helene. Athletes will experience a fast 1.2-mile downriver swim in the Savannah River before biking 56-miles through rural Augusta, taking in all this scenic Southern destination has to offer. The 13.1-mile spectator-filled run course will take athletes along the beautifully shaded North Augusta Greenway trail before an unforgettable finish in downtown Augusta.
