Men's professional race:
Manoel Messias won his home race in convincing fashion, sealing the victory with a powerful run. He recorded an impressive half-marathon split of 1:09:06, finishing with a total time of 3:36:27. The final podium was an all-Brazilian affair.
Women's professional race:
Djenyfer Arnold dictated the race from the start, posting the fastest swim, bike, and run segments among the professional women. She exited the water with compatriot Vittoria Lopes in a time of 23:47. Arnold and Lopes rode together for the entire bike leg, building a significant lead of over six minutes on the rest of the field. During the run, Arnold pulled away from Lopes and never looked back, cruising to victory.
