70.3 Nokke Heist Belgium Pro Start List

Thursday 04 September 2025

Belgium has long been a land of triathlon champions from Luc Van Lierde and Frederik Van Lierde to Tine Deckers, Marten Van Riel, and Jelle Geens. Belgian triathletes are increasingly represented across IRONMAN and IRONMAN 70.3 events in Europe and beyond. It was only natural for IRONMAN to bring the race home in 2023, offering you the chance to shine on your own soil.

This race weekend continues to honor the historic triathlon distance of Knokke-Heist on Saturday with the 5i50 triathlon, and also welcomes 2,350 participants on Sunday’s IRONMAN 70.3. It has quickly established itself as a must-do event, attracting more and more international athletes each year.

The Swim-Bike-Run courses remain close to last year’s successful layout — with a swim in the Damsche Vaart canal in Sluis, a flat bike course full of rhythm and turns, and a run that combines the natural beauty of General Willems Park with the high energy of the fast-paced Zeedijk.

Professionals compete for $25,000 prize purse plus 2WPRO/2MPRO WC Slots.
