Cambridge, Maryland, and Dorchester County will play host to the longstanding and popular 2022 IRONMAN®?70.3® Eagleman triathlon on Sunday, June 12. Race weekend kicks off on Friday, June 9 with athlete check-in at the IRONMAN Village expo at Gerry Boyle Park, named in honor of the late IRONMAN 70.3 Eagleman and IRONMAN Maryland race director Gerry Boyle. On Sunday, June 12, athletes will begin their 70.3-mile journey through the Choptank River, the Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge, and downtown Cambridge.

Top triathletes from around the world, including Ben Hoffman (USA), Andy Potts (USA), Justin Metzler (USA), Jodie Stimpson (GBR) Tamara Jewett (CAN), Sarah True (USA), Sophie Watts (USA), and Sika Henry (USA) among others are scheduled to compete for a professional prize purse of $30,000.
