After the mandatory break from the event last year, we are pleased and happy to be able to hold the event together with the City of Hamburg in times that are still challenging. This puts an end to the long wait and on August 29, 2021 we will welcome you to the fourth edition of the Supersapiens IRONMAN Hamburg!
The Supersapiens IRONMAN Hamburg will continue to be characterized by its spectacular location in the heart of Hamburg. As usual, the swimming will take place in the Inner and Outer Alster Lake, the bike course leads from the city center out into the countryside of Hamburg, flat and fast, before finally returning back to the city center for the run course along the Alster. In the end we look forward to welcome you at the finish line in front of the famous historical Hamburg City Hall with the words “You are an IRONMAN”.
This race offers qualifying slots for the Supersapiens IRONMAN World Championship 2022 in Kailua-Kona, Hawai’i.
Professionals compete for $50,000 prize purse plus 2 WPRO World Champ Slots.
