Friday 30 August 2019

The IRONMAN 70.3 Zell am See-Kaprun is an event for the whole family. Race week starts with the IRONGIRL Run. On Saturday, the big stage belongs to the junior athletes. Children from all over the world take part in the IRONKIDS competition and radiate with the proud parents around the world. Sunday is race day for the best IRONMAN athletes and Age Grouper, who will reach their limits at one of the most beloved triathlon competitions in Europe and celebrate with thousands of spectators.

With the sparkling lake Zell as its centerpoint and glacier-covered mountains as its backdrop, this event will showcase Austria's majestic scenery. The swim takes place in a lake so clean you can drink the water, the new bike course will provide athletes stunning views of the Austrian Alps, and the distractingly scenic run course circumnavigates the lake, finishing in the picturesque old town of Zell am See.
