St. George & Southwestern Utah set to host the return of Intermountain Health IRONMAN 70.3 North American Championship with a robust professional field featuring Lionel Sanders, Sam Long, Matt Hanson, Skye Moench, Rach McBride and Jeanni Metzler, among many others vying for $100,000 USD professional prize purse.  

Intermountain Health IRONMAN 70.3 North American Championship St. George is an iconic race where athletes from all over the world come to prove themselves against this legendary course. In a land sculpted by persistence and determination, athletes looking for an epic challenge will navigate a path through two iconic state parks, basalt lava fields, and a fragile desert reserve as they rise to conquer one of the most prestigious and striking events in the world. 

2023 Intermountain Health IRONMAN 70.3 North American Championship St. George will lead athletes along a 1.2-mile swim, 56-mile bike and 13.1-mile run through basalt lava fields and dancing deserts as triathletes soak in breathtaking scenery and views of the surrounding red rock canyons.
