Haines City Hosts an International line-up for 70.3 Florida USA

Athletes looking for an early-season race with plenty of spectator support should look no further than IRONMAN 70.3 Florida. Located just minutes from the world famous theme parks of Central Florida, Haines City provides plenty of activities for you and your family to enjoy all weekend long.

The swim start is located on a white sand beach next to the Lake Eva Park. The bike course will travel through eastern Polk County on rural roads. It is an open course with local traffic sharing the roadway, please stay alert. Athletes will travel through residential and country roads passing orange groves, lakes and golf courses. The 13.1-mile run is a 2-loop course that will take place on paved trails and roads around Lake Eva. Spectators and family members will be able to see athletes on each loop of the course as they pass the transition area at Lake EvaPark. The finish line will be right next to the Bandshell at Lake Eva Park.

IRONMAN and EVENTSPORT announced today that the city of San Juan, Argentina will host a new full-distance IRONMAN® triathlon and a 5150® Triathlon Series event. The inaugural IRONMAN San Juan triathlon will make its debut on November 1, 2026, and the 5150 San Juan triathlon will take place on the same race weekend on Friday, October 30, 2026. General registration for the new events is scheduled to open in the coming months. more

The best male long-distance triathletes in the world from 12 age groups claimed their respective titles at the 2025 IRONMAN® World Championship triathlon in Nice, France on Sunday, September 14. Nearly 2,500 registered athletes from 86 countries, regions and territories swam 2.4 miles, biked 112 miles, and ran 26.2 miles, in triathlon’s pinnacle event of triathlon. The overall Age-Group World Champion crown went to France’s Quentin Amarat racing in the M25-29 category. more

History was made on the Côte d’Azur today, as Casper Stornes of Norway claimed his first IRONMAN World Championship title on debut at the 2025 IRONMAN World Championship in Nice, France, taking home $125,000 USD in professional prize money and 6,000 IRONMAN Pro Series points. Stornes stormed to victory, in a total time of 7:51:39, including running a blazing fast 2:29:25 IRONMAN World Championship best marathon time as he led a Norwegian sweep of the podium. more

Queensland’s Ellie Salthouse (AUS) and Tasmania’s Jake Birtwhistle (AUS) have impressed on their way to victory at the 2025 IRONMAN 70.3 Sunshine Coast, with both athletes breaking the tape comfortably clear of second place on the spectator-lined finish in Mooloolaba. Salthouse completed the 1.9km swim, 90km bike, and 21.1km run in 4:05:10 – more than five minutes clear of Sunshine Coast-based Dutch athlete Lotte Wilms. Canberra’s Penny Slater (AUS) rounded out the podium in 4:12:37. more
