This weekend, the inaugural edition of IRONMAN 70.3 Tours Métropole - Loire Valley triathlon took place, welcoming 2,700 registered age-group and professional athletes. During the weekend, it was announced by IRONMAN and the city of Tours that next year, IRONMAN 70.3 Tours Métropole - Loire Valley triathlon will become a full-distance IRONMAN triathlon. In parallel, IRONMAN Les Sables d’Olonne -Vendée triathlon will return to be an IRONMAN 70.3 event. more
Athletes from 38 nations will be ready to do the iconic jump from the ferry to participate in Zalaris Norseman Xtreme Triathlon and XTRI World Championship on the 2nd of August 2025. The official start list for the Zalaris Norseman Xtreme Triathlon 2025 has now been published. The interest in participating in the world's toughest triathlon reached an all-time high when the lottery for the 2025 edition opened in October 2024. A total of 6,304 athletes from 96 countries applied for a coveted spot. more
Ironman Brazil 2025 saw Pamella Oliveira win her fourth consecutive title with a time of 8:46:17, while Luciano Taccone repeated his 2023 victory on the men's side with a time of 7:31:46. Oliveira's win was decisive, and her lead was substantial over runner-up Fiona Moriarty. On the men's side, Taccone secured his win over Manoel Messias Dos Santos and Federico Scarabino. more
The first Ironman 70.3 Tours Métropole in 2025 saw India Lee and Casimir Moine take the top spots in the women's and men's races, respectively. Lee dominated the women's race, winning by a comfortable margin, while Moine's victory in the men's race came after a strong run performance. more
