So who’s in it to win it and who’s prospecting for gold at 70.3 World Champs in 11 weeks time on this same course. Matt Dixons Purplepatch crew have had a training camp here for a week prior so expect Meredith Kessler, Jesse Thomas and Laura Siddall to do the boss proud come Sunday. Any Canadian at the start line hasn’t come to Quebec to take notes especially Magali Tisseyre 2nd last year, Trevor Wurtele 4th and Annie Gervais 5th in 2013.
Jeff Symonds always seems to do well on home soil and will we see Aussie Leon Griffin fighting for the win or is he here on walkabout? USA’s Amber Ferreira came 4th here in 2013 and is on fire this year with a string of good results. It will be interesting to see how the Colorado based brit Julie Dibens goes here after her injury layoff she is back this season and this course should suit her biking skills. look for her and Meredith to do battle on the bike in the mountains of Mont-Tremblant.
