New K226 Distance Triathlon To Come To Chantilly Oise, France

Monday 01 July 2024

Castle Race Series have announced they are set to host a full iron distance ultra-triathlon at Château de Chantilly on 8 June 2025. “The Bastion”, as it will be known, will feature a 3.8km swim in the Grand Canal, a 180km bike course around the beautiful Oise region and a stunning 42.2km run course through the grounds of one of France’s most iconic châteaux.

The Bastion 140.6 will form part of a wider Castle Race Series Triathlon and Multisport Festival at the château over the weekend of 7-8 June, coinciding with the 15th edition of the event.

The château is a short train ride from Paris and is perfectly located to be accessible to athletes from the whole of France and beyond. Each Bastion entrant will receive a finisher t-shirt, rucksack, a post-race meal, massage along with their iconic medal. The affordable entry promises to provide great value at the full iron distance with assured, professional and specialist assistance throughout the entire athlete’s journey.

Castle Race Series have a wealth of experience hosting full iron distance endurance events, having hosted them for over 10 years across the Channel in the UK. They are sure to provide a well-run and highly organised event and are currently offering discounted entry to the first 100 entrants.
