Global Pro Line-Up for 70.3 Indian Wells California

The picturesque Trainual IRONMAN 70.3 Indian Wells-La Quinta course is lined with palm trees and nestled just beneath the towering Santa Rosa Mountains as well as stunning lake views throughout Indian Wells and La Quinta. Athletes will embark on their 70.3-mile journey beginning with a 1.2-mile swim followed by a 56-mile bike and will cap it off with a 13.1-mile run through the Coachella Valley. The swim will take place in the clear waters of Lake Cahuilla, providing an ideal experience for athletes of all levels. The one-loop bike course offers a flat and fast experience across county roads, the Thermal Raceway, the City of La Quinta and the Indian Wells Tennis Gardens. The day ends with a beautiful run through the Indian Wells Golf Resort and finish line at the iconic Tennis Gardens. This one-of-a-kind tour of this unique and stunningly beautiful region in Southern California is a perfect end-of-season racecation destination.
 
In addition, top triathletes from around the world, including Lionel Sanders, (CAN), Justin Metzler (USA), Tamara Jewett (CAN), Sarah Svensk (SWE), and Chelsea Sodaro (USA) among others are scheduled to compete for a total professional prize purse of $50,000.  

The Trainual IRONMAN 70.3 Indian Wells-La Quinta triathlon will offer qualifying slots to the 2022 IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship being held in St. George, Utah.
