Who will be Crowned 70.3 Euro-Champ at Elsinore DEN

Staged near the legendary 15th century Kronborg Castle, the IRONMAN 70.3 European Championship Elsinore is a fusion of Danish culture and nature.   The course takes advantage of the woodlands and green landscapes of Denmark as well as the stunning architecture in the city. Located a short drive from Copenhagen, Elsinore will delight visitors with its cobbled streets and numerous opportunities for exploration and discovery. 

This race offers 100 qualifying slots for the IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship 2021 in St. George, Utah plus an additional 25 qualifying slots exclusively for female athletes from the Women For Tri Initiative.

American Taylor Knibb cemented her name in the history books yet again as she took her third consecutive title at the 2024 VinFast IRONMAN® 70.3® World Championship with an overall finish time of 3:57:34. Knibb swam 24:30 over the 1.9 km (1.2-mile) ROKA swim course, biked the 90km (56-mile) FulGaz bike course in 2:10:09, and ran a 1:19:20 on the 21.1km (13.1-mile) HOKA run course to finish among cheering crowds on Tongariro Street in the heart of Taupo. more
