TeamTBB’s Diana Riesler & Andrej Vistica take on Challenge Roth

Thursday 17 July 2014
TeamTBB Pro Athletes Andrej Vistica and Diana Riesler will be taking on Challenge Roth this weekend as the race celebrates its 30-year anniversary with its strongest pro field to date.

Andrej, in his first year as a full time professional athlete, has had a tough start to the season with falling ill during Challenge Taiwan earlier in the year. He has since then taken on a few races and is feeling stronger, he managed to put in a strong performance at the Chiemsee Triathlon in June, earning him a spot on the podium and giving him the confidence boost he needed for Challenge Roth.

Diana Riesler who is just coming back from a foot injury is looking forward to being at the start line at Challenge Roth. She recently won the short course Chiemsee Triathlon and is looking forward to putting herself up against a very strong field of women.

These two teamTBB athletes will be facing two world champions, Pete Jacobs and Mirinda Carfrae both of Australia. Caroline Steffen (SUI), Rebekah Keat (AUS), and Luke Mckenzie (AUS), James Cunnama (RSA and the defending champion Dirk Bockel (LUX), will also join them.

Over 220,000 spectators support challenge Roth with over 5,500 athletes from over 60 nations.

Full live coverage is available at www.challenge-roth.com

We wish Andrej and Diana and the rest of the athletes the best of luck at Challenge Roth.
