Sam Appleton and Regan Hollioake have claimed the men’s and women’s professional titles at IRONMAN Australia, with both athletes impressing on their way to the top step of the podium. Appleton crossed the finish line in 7:57:32, a new course best time, with Hollioake winning in 9:02:03, as both athletes claimed their debut IRONMAN victories. more
Stunning St. George and Southwestern Utah played host to the 2024 Intermountain Health IRONMAN® 70.3® North American Championship St. George triathlon today, doubling as the third race of the IRONMAN Pro Series™. A first-time IRONMAN Australia professional women’s champion is set to be crowned in Port Macquarie this Sunday 5 May. Nine female professionals will line up to take on the 3.8km swim, 180km ride and 42.2km run, with none of them having stood on the top step of the podium at IRONMAN Australia before. Wagga Wagga’s Radka Kahlefeldt is the top seeded female for Sunday’s race, having finished second at the event last year. more
