Situated near the city of Nagoya in the Aichi Prefecture, Japan’s fourth largest city, the race unfolds in the Chita Peninsula (included 3 cities) precinct surrounding the Centrair International Airport.
The Centrair International Airport will act as the hub of the race course that will traverse Tokoname City and surrounding environs. The event expo, race office and awards banquet will be located inside the airport terminal itself, offering a unique IRONMAN 70.3 experience for athletes and fans alike.
There are 30 qualifying slots to the 2018 IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship in Nelson Mandela Bay, South Africa.
Professionals compete for P-500 points plus $15,000 prize purse.
